Approach

We took a collaborative and strategic approach, leveraging the power of Shopify Plus and a user-centric design philosophy to revitalize Carnium Botanicals's online presence.

We started by understanding Carnium Botanicals' needs through in-depth workshops. This led to a detailed project specification, engaging UX/UI designs, and a custom Shopify Plus theme with integrated third-party applications.

Shopify Plus

This platform gave us the power and flexibility to build truly custom online stores for Carnium Botanicals, scaling to meet their needs and packed with all the right features.

Figma

We used Figma for UX/UI design, creating interactive prototypes and mockups to ensure a user-centered approach. It allowed for seamless communication and feedback throughout the design process.

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid

These technologies were the building blocks for the front end. Liquid, being Shopify's own templating language, was essential for creating custom themes that really captured Carnium Botanicals's brand.

Key Integrations

We brought in some key third-party apps to handle things like payments, shipping, email marketing, subscriptions, and product reviews. Each one was carefully chosen to give Carnium Botanicals exactly what they needed and create a smooth shopping experience.

What we focused on:

  • Smooth migration: We paid special attention to migrating Carnium Botanicals's existing data to the new Shopify Plus platform, ensuring data integrity and minimizing disruption.

  • Enhanced user experience: Our UX/UI design focused on creating intuitive navigation, engaging product pages, and a streamlined checkout process to maximize customer satisfaction and conversions.

  • Scalability and performance: We built the platform with scalability in mind, ensuring it could handle Carnium Botanicals's current needs and future growth. Performance optimization was also a priority to provide a fast and responsive shopping experience.

  • Third-party integration: To improve the user experience and drive sales, we recommended integrating several helpful applications. Seal Subscriptions facilitated easy repeat purchases, and we also suggested Cross Sell and Bundler Product Bundles to increase order value by offering relevant recommendations and bundle deals. For customer retention, we've implemented S Loyalty, and Klaviyo Email Marketing was chosen for effective communication, while Shogun provided flexible page-building capabilities.

Results

Naturaily successfully delivered 12 revitalized Shopify Plus stores for Carnium Botanicals, resulting in a significant uplift in brand perception, user engagement, and online sales.

The redesign delivered a modern and engaging online experience that resonated with Carnium Botanicals' customers. This led to happier customers, higher conversions, and a more streamlined operation, allowing them to better serve their customers.

The implementation of a robust mega menu allowed customers to easily navigate through Carnium Botanicals' extensive product catalog, improving product discovery and reducing bounce rates.

Consolidating the stores onto a single, scalable Shopify Plus platform simplified management and maintenance. This allowed Carnium Botanicals to focus on strategic growth initiatives rather than day-to-day operational challenges.
